With over four years of legal practice, Shokur also brings valuable experience from his previous roles as a senior immigration analyst and, subsequently, a team lead for one year. He further strengthened his expertise by articling for an immigration firm for ten months.

Yasamin Fahd is an accomplished founding Partner and Lawyer at Fahd Law Professional Corporation, where she brings a wealth of expertise to her diverse clientele. Yasamin's extensive practice areas encompass a broad range of civil litigation matters, including tort law, personal injury, accident benefits, negligence, occupier's liability, employment law and medical malpractice.
A fervent advocate for her clients, Yasamin regularly represents them before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, and various Tribunals.
During her time in law school, Yasamin demonstrated her commitment to social justice by serving as a member of her law school's Community Legal Services clinic, where she offered pro bono legal advice to individuals in need.
Before establishing Fahd Law alongside her brother, Yasamin gained invaluable experience at a boutique law firm in Markham, Ontario. Initially joining the firm as an articling student, Yasamin's exceptional performance led to her being offered a full-time associate position. There, she headed the Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Employment Law practice while also thriving in the areas of personal injury and general litigation.
As a dedicated member of the legal community, Yasamin is affiliated with the Canadian Bar Association, The Advocates' Society, and Young Women in Law. Passionate about making a difference, Yasamin has volunteered at women and children's shelters such as Yellow Brick House and Women's College Hospital. Currently, she is actively involved with Matthew House Toronto, where she assists refugee claimants throughout their hearing process.
Outside of her thriving legal practice, Yasamin enjoys an array of personal pursuits, including cycling, hiking, yoga, and spending quality time with her cherished family and friends. Articling Student
Gwen joined Fahd Law in August 2024 as a law student and is now articling with the firm.
She graduated in June 2025 from the partnership program between Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Sussex, earning a B.A. in Political Science with High Distinction and an LL.B. with First Class Honours. During her legal studies, Gwen served as a student advisor in the Legal Clinic and competed in several law skills competitions. Through these experiences, she developed strong legal research, oral advocacy, and client communication skills, as well as a practical understanding of professional ethics.
While she has diverse legal interests, she is particularly drawn to civil litigation.
Outside of the legal field, Gwen is passionate about travel, photography, and in her free time, enjoys exploring the city and recreational athletics.
